Project background
The Baddeck project was developed and are operated by SWEB Development within the context of the “Community feed-in tariff program”.
The Project was built at the top of a mountain overlooking Bras d’Or lake near the village of Baddeck. The steep grades required the use of an assist vehicle to help get the wind turbine parts and cranes up the hill and onto the site.
This 1.7-megawatt project consists of one turbine.
