Project background
The Little River project was developed and are operated by SWEB Development within the context of the “Community feed-in tariff program”. Project planning commenced in 2012, and project development work lasted for about two years.
The facility is located in Nova Scotia, southeast of the city of Yarmouth. Little River was designed to utilize the same grid line for interconnection as well as use the same overhead pole line to run both circuits for Little River & Black Pond.
This 1.99-megawatt project consists of one turbine.
